How do I start using PlayFilm?

It’s as easy as signing up, creating an account and completing the tutorial. Then you’ll be able to start creating PlayFilms!

How many interactive videos can I publish?

The number of PlayFilms you can publish in both subscription plans is UNLIMITED.

What are the differences between both plans?

Both plans have unlimited number of interactive videos published and differ from each other in the account manager, the customer support and the branded player.

Can I pay monthly?

Essential is the only plan you can choose to pay monthly. However, if you choose to pay annually you’ll save 120€ (3 months free).

Can I change my subscription plan anytime?

Yes, if you want to upgrade to Professional we will discount the equivalent amount of your current Essential subscription. If you want to downgrade to Essential because it fits your needs better, you can change your plan too.

Can I cancel the renewal anytime?

By default, your subscription will renew automatically by the end of the subscription period but you can turn off auto-renew anytime from your user settings.

What happens to my projects if I cancel my subscription?

We don’t want it, and it’s not likely to happen, but in case you decided to move to another planet and unsubscribe from PlayFilm, we would keep your projects in our system for 30 days. So that if you reconsidered it and came back everything would be right where you left it.

Can I get a boxed copy of PlayFilm?

No. Fortunately, PlayFilm is an online software, which means that every process happens in a powerful and remote server, safe from blue screens of death and always available anywhere in the globe.

How much storage do I have?

UNLIMITED. Sounds good, right? Wait, let us spell it: U-N-L-I-M-I-T-E-D. That’s it, there’s no limit on the amount of files you can upload.

Where are the interactive videos hosted when published?

All the files associated to your projects are stored in PlayFilm’s own CDN servers (video specific servers), so you don’t need to worry about hosting.

What is an Account Manager?

In the Professional plan we assign you an Account Manager who will always be by your side to help you with everything you may need.

What does “Priority ticket” and “Call me” mean?

There are different ways to contact PlayFilm. Besides the chat, the Professional plan gives you “Priority tickets” to get your support tickets solved faster and a “Call me” feature that allows you request a phone call from your Account Manager.

What does "Unbranded" mean?

The Professional plan allows you to turn off any reference to PlayFilm in your published interactive videos.

What do you mean by “Answers”?

Each time a user answers a question, hits the send button of a form or clicks a CTA, PlayFilm processes that action as an answer. That’s it. Now that you know what it is you may forget it, because they’re unlimited 🙂
